LASH LIFT FAQ’s

Yes, a patch test is required at least 48 hours your appointment. You can book this by contacting the studio directly - patch tests cannot be booked online. Patch tests are available on Thursday & Friday’s at Insation Hair & Beauty. Email bethanlouisestudio@gmail.com to arrange a test.

The studio is trialling at home patch tests, you will need to order one at least 7-10 days before your appointment to ensure it arrives on time. Please note that tests will not be sent out on weekends. 

Please be aware that there is a 48 hour response time to emails, the studio will reply as soon as possible but it may take up to 48 hours during busy periods.

Appointments for a Lash Lift will take around 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes depending on your lashes (thicker, longer lashes require longer processing times). 

Your Lash Lift will last between 6-8 weeks. This may vary slightly if you are a regular swimmer or sauna user.

First you will be invited to lay down on our treatment bed and get cosy! I will start by assessing your eyelashes and discussing your desired curl with a mini consultation after which I shall begin your eyelash prep by shampooing the lashes.

Next, hydrating gel pads will be placed underneath your eyes which hold down the lower lashes and helps to protect the eye before placing a specifically chosen lash shield to your upper eyelid with adhesive (this shield will help to create your new curl through your eyelashes), your eyes will be closed for the appointment whilst I apply solutions.

You will be given detailed aftercare advice following your appointment. If you have any questions after you have left the studio, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We highly recommend UK Lash Serum - tried and tested with fantastic results! Almost all of our lash clients are now incorporating the serum into their nighttime routine!

We are please to offer two Lash Lift brands - one is Vegan friendly and the other does not test on animals and suitable for vegetarians - it contains ethically sourced lanolin for added hydration classifying the product as non-vegan. Please let the studio know in your booking notes if you have a preference.
